Cookie Notice

Last Updated: May 11, 2026  ·  Effective Date: May 11, 2026

This Cookie Notice explains how OrbitWorks Labs LLC d/b/a OrbitWorks (“OrbitWorks”) uses cookies and similar technologies on orbitworks.cloud and OrbitWorks-branded online services. This Cookie Notice supplements the Privacy Policy and should be read together with the Terms of Use. In the event of a conflict between this Cookie Notice and a separate written agreement governing a specific client engagement, the written agreement will control to the extent of the conflict.

1. What This Notice Covers

This Notice uses the term “cookies” as shorthand for cookies and related storage or access technologies, including local storage, HTML5 storage, tags, scripts, pixels, SDKs, and similar mechanisms that store information on, or access information from, a browser, device, or application environment. OrbitWorks classifies these technologies by operational necessity, security impact, and legal treatment, not by marketing convenience.

2. OrbitWorks Current Cookie Posture

OrbitWorks uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate, secure, and maintain the Services.

OrbitWorks may use limited first-party, privacy-preserving analytics configured to minimize personal data use and to support service quality, performance measurement, and content improvement.

OrbitWorks does not use third-party advertising pixels, retargeting technologies, or cross-site behavioral tracking technologies on the core public website.

Where non-essential cookies or similar technologies are used, OrbitWorks will provide any notices and obtain any consent required by applicable law before those technologies are placed or activated.

3. Categories of Cookies and Similar Technologies

3.1 Strictly Necessary

These technologies are used to operate, secure, and maintain the Services. They may support session integrity; load balancing and network routing; security controls, abuse detection, and fraud prevention; authentication state and access control for restricted areas; and preservation of privacy or security choices where legally and technically appropriate. Blocking these technologies may cause portions of the Services to fail or function improperly.

3.2 Limited First-Party Analytics and Measurement

OrbitWorks may use limited first-party, privacy-preserving analytics to understand how the Services perform, which pages or resources are being used, whether content is helpful, and where service quality or usability can be improved. OrbitWorks configures such analytics to minimize personal data use and does not permit third-party advertising networks to collect visitor information on the core public website for their own cross-site marketing purposes. Where applicable law requires consent for analytics or related technologies, OrbitWorks will obtain that consent before deployment.

3.3 Advertising, Retargeting, and Cross-Site Behavioral Tracking

OrbitWorks does not use third-party advertising pixels, retargeting technologies, or cross-site behavioral tracking technologies on the core public website. If OrbitWorks introduces such technologies in the future, this Cookie Notice and any related privacy disclosures will be updated before those technologies are used, and any legally required choice mechanisms will be implemented.

3.4 Third-Party Content, Tools, and Embedded Services

Some OrbitWorks pages or private offerings may, from time to time, integrate third-party content, services, or tools that rely on cookies or similar technologies to function. Where those technologies are optional or non-essential, OrbitWorks will provide any required notice or consent mechanism before activation, unless another lawful basis or exception applies.

4. How OrbitWorks Uses These Technologies

OrbitWorks may use cookies and similar technologies to deliver and secure the Services; maintain session continuity and system integrity; detect abuse, malicious activity, fraud, or operational issues; measure site performance and identify service-quality problems; understand use of content and service flows at an aggregated or limited first-party level; remember user-selected privacy or interface settings where appropriate; and support documentation, troubleshooting, and service improvement. OrbitWorks does not use the core public website as a vehicle for third-party adtech surveillance.

5. Global Privacy Control and Similar Opt-Out Preference Signals

Where applicable, OrbitWorks honors Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) and other legally recognized universal opt-out preference signals that the Services can detect and process. Where required by law, OrbitWorks treats such signals as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising and processes the signal in a frictionless manner. OrbitWorks may also treat such signals as a broader privacy preference for the relevant browser or device by suppressing non-essential tracking. OrbitWorks does not charge a fee, degrade the Services, or require additional consideration because a user sends a valid opt-out preference signal.

6. Your Choices

Depending on the relevant Service, jurisdiction, and technical configuration, you may be able to manage cookies and similar technologies by adjusting your browser or device settings to block or delete cookies; enabling Global Privacy Control or another legally recognized universal opt-out preference signal; using any consent, preference, or privacy controls made available on the relevant OrbitWorks Service; or contacting OrbitWorks using the contact details below. Please note that blocking or disabling strictly necessary technologies may affect security, functionality, or availability of the Services.

7. Retention and Duration

Session-based technologies generally expire when you close your browser session. Persistent technologies remain for a defined period or until deleted, subject to the relevant purpose, technical need, legal requirement, and configuration. OrbitWorks seeks to keep retention periods proportionate to the purpose for which the technology is used.

8. Private Offerings and Supplemental Notices

OrbitWorks may operate private, invitation-only, client-specific, pilot, or limited-release offerings under the OrbitWorks brand. Such offerings may rely on additional storage or access technologies required for authentication, client workspace security, service delivery, or operational integrity. Where those technologies differ materially from the practices described in this Cookie Notice, OrbitWorks may provide a supplemental notice, in-product disclosure, client-specific contract term, or other written notice that governs the relevant context.

9. Changes to This Cookie Notice

OrbitWorks may update this Cookie Notice from time to time to reflect changes in the Services, legal requirements, operational practices, or the technologies used. Changes become effective when posted unless a later effective date is stated. Material changes may be highlighted through the Services or by other appropriate means where required by law.
